1:00 – 7:30 p.m. & 9:30 p.m. Poetry Showcase

Ready yourself for an engaging and educational writing retreat at Michigan’s historic Idlewild resort.

Because the DuBois-Chesnutt Writing Institute is woven into the daylong annual Idlewild Jazz
Festival, there is no writer fee or separate admission to participate:
Your festival ticket gets you on the grounds and into the workshop.

Idlewild Jazz Festival tickets are only $35 prior to July 1 and $40 after that date.
Vendors will be on hand with an assortment of sumptuous food; artisans promise an array of
beautiful jewelry, arts and crafts; and soul-stirring jazz provides the soundtrack for your learning.
