On September 2, 2023, we lost our Thomas to complications of a sickle cell anemia crisis. He was only 26 years old. As an individual who was only hospitalized a handful of times for pain in his young adult years, his sudden illness and resulting passing sent shockwaves through our souls. We know time is the only remedy for this loss we'll never get over. As someone told me recently, we'll just learn to live alongside it. Denmark assembled this video as a tribute to his younger brother and the end clip was created by his cousin Jalen Dixson.
There are no words to describe how much we miss him. We'll always love him to the stars and back. #wya |
